The brand has an ambitious plan to open around forty retail stores in major metropolitan locations over the next several years.

Last week, Domaine Select Wine Estates hosted a party at New York’s Classic Car Club as part of the launch of its Classic & Vintage Artisanal Spirits line. The line includes small-batch spirits, both imported and domestic, among them Armagnac Castarede from France, and one brand that I was particularly excited to sample, Tuthilltown’s Hudson Valley, New York bourbon, whiskeys and apple vodka.

The news of Beyonce’s new fragrance got a bit lost in the heady whiff of scandal following Kanye West’s display of overeager support of her video at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, Beyonce has been the face of perfumes for Tommy Hilfiger and Giorgio Armani but now she has her own contract with Coty for a Beyonce fragrance that will debut next spring. WWD speculates that she could earn up to $20 million over the next three years in the deal.
